This is a detailed itinerary based on our Southern Cebu adventure series 2013 (Oslob-Dalaguete-Badian-Moalboal).

Day 1 (August 19, 2013)

- Gentle giants encounter – Oslob, Cebu

- Tumalog waterfalls – Oslob, Cebu

Day 2 (August 20, 2013)

- Osmeña peak traverse day hike | Mantalongon-Sanlagan

- Kawasan waterfalls – Badian, Cebu

Day 2-3 (August 20-21. 2013)

- Panagsama beach – Moalboal, Cebu

We came from Kawasan waterfalls in Badian then we headed to Moalboal market and bought supplies. On our 2nd and final day in Cebu we opted to stay in Moalboal beach.

1700 We took a tricycle to Basdaku beach (white beach) in Barangay Saavedera.

1720 ETA Basdaku beach

If you want to camp, swim, relax and walk in the beach shore – this beach is for you. We wanted a quiet and relax place for our 2nd night in Cebu. We left white beach and hoping to find a perfect place for us. I had mistaken told our driver to bring us in sanctuary which led us to wrong sanctuary.

1750 ETA Saavedra fish sanctuary | a nearby sanctuary in white beach.

I was referring to Tuble marine sanctuary but I mispronounced it (in English ta-bol) and even our driver heard it on first time. When I made a call with my contact in Tuble, she told me the location of Tuble which is found in Barangay Tuble (pronounce as Tub-le not ta-bol) lies between panagsama beach and Barangay Saavedra. Saavedra fish sanctuary is prohibited from fishing, snorkeling and swimming. We headed to Barangay Tuble.

1820 ETA Tuble beach front | we looked first on the area if we could pitch our tent, someone taking care of the area (guard) and comfort room. There was no one residing or people around. Safety first! We opted to stay in Panagsama beach.

Day 3 – August 21, 2013

0700 Woke up!

0800 We took our breakfast.

0900 Snokelling!

Panagsama beach is a diving spot and snorkeling area. Coral reefs can be seen just in front of the resorts. We saw lots of fishes like sardines and other colorful fishes, and corals. Used rash guard for jellyfish, we encountered a lot of them.
