Sibuyan Island is
dominated by picturesque Mount Guiting-guiting. It has a lush biodiversity withstanding
of flora and fauna. Numerous rivers, streams and waterfalls are hosted by the
mountain. These rivers were once proclaimed and still remain as one of the
cleanest rivers in the Philippines.
Perhaps Mt. Guiting-guiting
and famous waterfalls are top destinations and attractions in the region. Lambingan
is one of the several well-known falls in Sibuyan Island.
Lambingan falls jump
off is easy to recognize and it is located at the side of the main road. The
trail is straightforward, well established and maintained by the lady caretaker.
According to her, before it was open for public it was a place for lovers where
its name came from. Lambingan is a local word means caressing/petting/romance
or whatever lovers do.

How to get there:
From Gil Puyat Avenue
take bus bound for Batangas City Pier (via CALABARZON).
Option 1: From Batangas City port to Romblon port
- Take ferry (RORO) bound for Romblon
port [Romblon, Romblon] – fare is 700-800php.
- Then transfer to another ferry (RORO)
bound for Ambulong Port [Magdiwang, Sibuyan Island, Romblon].
- Take tricycle to Lambingan falls –
30 minutes rough ride.
Option 2: From Batangas City port to Odiongan port
- Take ferry (RORO) bound for
Odiongan port [Odiongan, Tablas Island, Romblon] - fare is 700php.
- Then take jeep bound for San
Agustin Port [San Agustin, Tablas Island, Romblon] - fare is 120-130php (1.5 -2
hours ride).
- Take ferry (RORO) bound for Ambulong Port [Magdiwang, Sibuyan Island,
Romblon] - fare is 324php.
- Take tricycle to Lambingan falls –
30 minutes rough ride.
Option 3: From Batangas City to Cajidiocan port
- Take ferry bound for Cajidiocan
port [ Cajidiocan, Sibuyan Island, Romblon] - fare is 1000-1500php.
- Navios Lines leaves Batangas City
every Friday and Tuesday at 1700H.
- Then take tricycle to Lambingan
falls - 1.5 hours ride
