Cape Santiago or Calatagan
Lighthouse
Brgy. Bagong Silang, Calatagan
Batangas
The light house tower symbolizes the town of Calatagan. It is also
called Parola because the place is named Parola and later on became Bagong
Silang. If you’re going to a beach, try
to visit the light house. Go on wonder and be amazed in this 51 feet structure
erected on 1890.

Notice the gate is
locked (most of the time). So, don’t go inside or climb at the gate. Maybe the
caretaker is inside the compound or not around (most often). If ever you get inside (the caretaker is
present). Keep your garbage. Preserve the tower (never ever put writings on it).
