Yes, that’s the word
tattooed at my right foot on December 31, 2011. The phrase was translated in
Arabic word using MS word and tattooed on my bare foot. Actually, the
translation was wrong as of my cousin understanding, it means “Everyone is
climbing (mountain)”- funny isn’t? But who knows unless you understand Arabic
word.
Why climb every mountain?
Climb every mountain whether it stands higher or below 1000 meters above sea
level –yet still, a mountain to climb. Climb every mountain even trails are not
challenging for you but remember to enjoy the beauty of the mountain and just
relax. Climb every mountain despite of exhausting and arduous trek. Climb every
mountain even though it has narrow and thorny path, limatik infested, knife edge, steepest ascent and descent – everyone
must conquer the biggest challenge in our life, not only the mountains but
ourselves. Climb every mountain if trails is not shaded with trees and exposed
under the heat of the sun. Climb every mountain if you’re young and able, if
you have time and money – never say sorry when it’s too late, grab the chance
if you have. Climb every mountain and you will see the verdant forest, wild
flowers and once in lifetime encounter with crazy insects and weird animals. Climb
every mountain, negotiate every trail and reach every peak,. Climb every mountain
with respect, love and care.
Each mountain has its
own uniqueness and characteristic. Never ever tell that this mountain is more
beautiful than the other one because every mountain has its own diverse beauty
– its nature-ral. Let me tell you this: “Mt. Pulag has magnificent sunrise
while its ray broke above the sea of clouds and across the sky while Mt.
Kanlaon has its own amazing crater and wonderful panorama of Margaja valley,
and the unforgettable marvelous Mt. Apo’s boulder e-camp that looks like a
desert scene on a movie”.
Every climb, every
mountain has its own story to tell and new things will learn. Appreciate.
